Game Themed Business Expos
In March 2019, Net XP held the East Sussex Marketing Expo at the East Sussex National near Uckfield. With some snow on the ground, us Brits soldiered on to make sure the weather was nothing more than a conversation for small talk.
The main talking point was the event with staggering success, on ‘Par’ with other expos we’ve hosted previously with the Golf theme.
Come June, we adventured to Bognor Regis and hosted the West Sussex Tech Expo at Butlins. An exciting venue and expo, we even had Pinks Vintage Ice Cream attend, giving out free 99’s with flakes from their Mrs Whippy van on the forecourt of the show. Guests and exhibitors enjoyed the whole experience. The game theme was Tennis and we all got a ‘slice’ of the action.
In September, Net XP dribbled into Ardingly to the South of England Showground for its flagship B2B Event experience. The event had a football theme and a ‘Beat The Goalie’ live game, which was a real championship winner. Along with the expo and games, Net XP - known as an innovator and disrupter in Sussex for bringing new ideas and concepts to tradeshows - created two new additions to the brand:
The Director’s Hub is a peer to peer business growth network offering exclusive think tanks as a way of building bridges and connections. Designed to share and collaborate on growth, problems and solutions, it is a place of inspiration and innovative thinking.
The Tiger’s Pen came about after the events director of Net XP, Sonny Cutting, had a eureka moment. An avid fan on the BBC programme, Dragon’s Den as well as The Apprentice, Sonny combined his orange brand, entrepreneurial spirit and a love for tigers together in a perfect fit for businesses. The Tiger’s Pen was designed for start-ups looking for investment, and some Tigers to guide, advise and invest. Thus far, The Tiger’s Pen has helped 12 businesses grow. In 2020, investment is increasing. The initial £500 capital investment is being boosted to £5000 for start-ups to pitch their ideas. With new investor Tigers joining in the new year, keep your ears peeled for their roars.
Both the Director’s Hub and the Tiger’s Pen were rolled out at the September expo and were instant successes. With the key events, countless connections and eclectic ideas, 2019 have been crazy for Net XP and the new year doesn’t look to be stopping or slowing down anytime soon! 2020 is a big year for Net XP to pounce on the South East and roar, with even bigger investment and bigger ideas.
In December we had the Sussex Entrepreneurs Conference which was held at Malmaison Brighton and this was also a huge success, so much so that we're already planning 2020's venues and events and we do hope that you can join us for what will be an eventful time.
